These stranded aliens could steal people’s identities.

The Fourth Doctor never encountered foes as clever at hiding their identities as the Zygons. Manipulating events from their crippled spaceship, and led by their fearsome warlord, Broton, these shape-shifting aliens had the ability to look like anyone in the world! The callous villains hid away in their damaged craft at the bottom of Loch Ness in Scotland for centuries. While they awaited rescue, they discovered their world had been destroyed.

With a refugee ship on its way, Broton decided to turn Earth into the new Zygon home world. To do that, he needed to take it over. A tunnel led from the Zygon ship to Forgill Castle, the Duke of Forgill’s home. As the Duke was an important political figure, Broton kidnapped him and, using the Zygons’ shape changing technology, stole the man’s identity. After many years of waiting, the Zygon invasion had begun!
