The most dangerous man in time and space has battled the Doctor many times. Power-mad, cruel and insane, it’s hard to believe the Master is a Time Lord just like his former friend and classmate. The Master wants to take charge of everything. He wants to be the master of the universe. Whether it’s by taking control of weapons that can blow up galaxies or holding the cosmos to ransom by threatening its imminent destruction, there is no plan too grand or too insane for this dastardly Time Lord.
Wanting to rule the universe can mean teaming up with some dodgy characters. The Master has worked with, among others, the Nestene Consciousness, the Axons and even the Daleks. He has regenerated more times than the Doctor, and tried many ways to extend his life – including stealing the Doctor’s life-force and trying to destroy Gallifrey. The Master has a strange habit of surviving against the odds…
