Master (Part 3)

Reaching the end of his natural life, the Master turned on his own people to extend his miserable existence…

Alliances with Daleks, the Nestene Consciousness, Axos and many more aliens’ threats seemed to take their toll on the Master as his dangerous life caught up with him all too soon. The renegade Time Lord reached the end o his life cycle, and all that was left of him was a skeletal and decaying body kept alive through the Master’s incredible willpower – and his hatred of the Doctor.

With help from Chancellor Goth, a Time Lord greedy for power, the Master returned to Gallifrey in an ambitious scheme that could have destroyed him home world and his people. He wanted to use the energy from the Eye of Harmony, the black hole that powered the time Lords’ ability to time travel, to give himself new life. Thankfully, in his attempt to trap and kill the Fourth Doctor, he sowed the seeds of his own defeat. After many bettles, the two enemy Time Lords fought, and it appeared that the Master fell into a chasm. But as the Doctor left Gallifrey, he didn’t see the Master depart in his own TARDIS! He might have been near death, but the Master was determined to cling on to his hate – filled life…
